If you can't find the designs or pictures: you should check the errors messages which appear when activating the debugger. You will get an error message for every image which is not found.

You should normally position the pictures in the override folder of your siteaccess:
such as:
/design/siteaccess/images/your_image_url.gif

and the stylesheets and javascript

/design/siteaccess/javascript/your_js_url.js
/design/siteaccess/stylesheets/your_css_url.css
