Hi,why dont you use a string and display it as a checkbox within the form template?

In my eZ installation (3.8.1) I have this folder:
design/standard/templates/content/datatype/result/info
and it contains these templates:
ezboolean.tpl ezcountry.tpl ezdate.tpl ezdatetime.tpl ezemail.tpl ezinteger.tpl ezoption.tpl ezproductcategory.tpl ezselection.tpl ezstring.tpl eztext.tpleztime.tpl
Is the situation the same at your installation. If yes, I think that you should override the ezboolean.tpl template.
