I am a novice developer for Eclipse Plugins. I have developed an Eclipse plug in which can track the active time involvement with Eclipse IDE. I integrated it to the Eclipse IDE as a view. Now I can track the time, but it will automatically pause time tracking, If the view is not selected(when that view gets lost the focus). But I need to pause the timer only if I switch to another application from Eclipse IDE. That means I need to pause it when the Eclipse IDE becomes inactive. But now even if I switch to another view inside Eclipse IDE, the timer stops working.
How can I do that? Should I need to study the source for Eclipse IDE? I can't even imagine what to do? Please help me, if you can.
