How to bypass ezpublish engine??

My flash movie is downloaded from the web server and it is displayed correctly. Problem occur when the flash movie itself try to download a config file from the web server. The URL builded by the flash movie is based on the web page's URL. i.e.: it build an URL than contain index.php and the request is processed by th ezpublish engine. How could I bypass ezpublish engine to fetch the config file in the proper directory? Any idea?
