Hi

I haven't looked at the package yet but most likely the reason for the login request is one of these:
- the anonymous user does not have content read permissions for the standard section
- the setting RequireUserLogin=true in the site.ini is not set to false in the site access specific site.ini.append.php

There might be some other reasons but I would first check these.
