Subtree notifications :"site alert" instead of an e-mail

Now i have the same problem as Lukasz, i must only display new content that belong to the user's subscribed subtrees. As far as i know, the ('content','tree') fetch only one subtree, and the ('content','search'), although it allows multiple subtree fetch, needs a text input. So do you know what the best solution is? Thank you all, David
