Hi Cori,

i had that problem before, i think with an ez 3.10 oder 4.0 site.
What did you do? I don't exactly understand "used both packages from 4.1.0 and 4.1.1".
Where did you find packages for 4.1.1?
I remember, that double-installing any specific package (like ezwebin) fails, as it tries to create tables, that already exist from the 1st installation

I don't know about any 4.1.1 beta release... As far as i know, anything, that is not yet release, can only be downloaded from the SVN repository.
But i wouldn't recommend this, if you need this for a production site, as the SVN may change every hour, as development is going on.

Hi Marco,

I found 4.1.1 packages in the repository and I've heard that there was a 4.1.1 floating around that worked so I was looking for it.

I hadn't double installed any packages I even created a new DB to see if that was the problem and got the same error. However, I found an old forum here that suggested creating a php.ini file (I don't have access to my actual one) and putting in the data that was there. THAT allowed the installation to complete and I got into my front and back end. The demo content however does not show and I cannot change the look and feel by selecting something else.

I haven't tested yet to see if the CSSes are able to be changed to get a new look and feel, so...wish me luck and I'll keep you all posted on what else I find.

May be must to tell "A big HUH?!" twice. In my 4.1 installation the error.log file don't even exists and can not determine the real error.
This is the output result after send registration:
Fatal error: eZ Publish did not finish its request

The execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.

Anyone else have this error and did solve?

I didn't had any problems with ezp4.1 (even in updates), so I can't help with this...

About Hugo's comment:

The error: "The execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below." usually is related with memory and/or timeout.

In which server environment do you have ezp installed; how much memory is assigned to php and how much "maximum execution time" in php.ini?

According to phpinfo():

Isn't that the output from command line? php-cli and mod_php/php-cgi use different php.ini files for it's settings.
