Hello ,

check if your mail server is up and running correctly.What do you use? SMTP, sendmail ?

You can configure mail settings in overridden settings/override/site.ini.append.php

Can you check if in your site.ini.append.php you have this block :

[InformationCollectionSettings]
EmailReceiver=xxxxxx@xxxx.fr

Can you try something :

1/ Set the TransportServer variable to "file"(mailsetting block in site.ini.append.php )

2 /Submit the form

3 /Check the mail file in "var/log/mail" and look for the email receiver

Hello

Do you use the Feedback Form content class (available with Website interface) ? If so, is the receiver e-mail right ?

Hi Eric and welcome to the eZ Community !

Try to spot the template used for creating the email (either you've overridden it, either it is in design/standard/templates/content/collectedinfomail/form.tpl ), and check whether you can find something like this :

{set-block scope=root variable=subject}Information{/set-block}

This is where you can control the content of the email's subject. You may want to try to modify the text there and double check whether you still get the cryptic output.

Let us know how things go,
Cheers,
