Thanx for the answer,

but the MySQL server is not in the same machine, I guess, it works using somthing like "sql.server.com" host name and I have a username that allows me to access a single database (no space or table number restrictions), but eZPublish does not connect. Any ideas? I want to make eZPublish run :)

Thanx again.

Can you feel it Mr. Anderson? Closing in on you? Oh I can, I really should thank you after all. It was, after all, it was your life that taught me the purpose of all life. Purpose of life is to end.

Mabye you need to specify the socket for mysql. Try to do a search for mysql.sock and enter the path for this in the eZ publish socket settings.
