What php version are your server running, and why are you trying to use version 3.4.1 / 3.4.7 ?

Hi, the problem here is that eZ Publish 3.x versions prior to 3.7 do not run on php 4.4.x, this is due to a reference bug fixed in php 4.4.

While we're at it it's also worth to mention that eZ Publish 3.7 and higher do not run on php 4.3.x and lower.

I think you do it in the right order yes, after moving it go thru the upgrade to sql and php scripts for 3.5, then 3.7, then 3.8.
