But seriously, 3.10 and 4.0 is 98% the same thing. So you might as well look for stuff you need there while you wait and ask questions here..

Normally yes and yes, issues are always fixed in several versions if the bug isn't restricted to one version only. We always support the two latest stable versions as a minimum.
