Does your MySQL have support for InnoDB?

Or do you have the <b>skip-innodb</b> startup option enabled?

this was the case... yes inndb was disabled... ty

I rerun the mysql configurator and set it up with innodb... I also had to upgrade from 4.1-7 to 4.1-14. 4.1-7 was crashing for some reason

[mysqld]
default-storage-engine=INNODB
