eZ Publish will give an error like that regarding PostgreSQL if you have MySQL but not PostgreSQL. You really don't need both! If it's recognizing MySQL fine, just proceed through the installation wizard.
Thanks for hint. The reason why I asked was that I get this message after enter the database data: <i>Fatal error: Call to undefined method ReflectionClass::newInstanceArgs() in /var/www/vhosts/av-comdesign.de/httpdocs/lib/ezutils/classes/ezextension.php on line 450 Fatal error: eZ Publish did not finish its request. The execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.</i>
I've also encountered a confusing situation similar to the above described situation.
Problem: The setup module does not know if you want to use mysql or pgsql so it must test for both.
So you can install and disable pgsql/mysql in order to prevent this warning from occurring or you could prolly just check the ignore box and move forward regardless of this warning.
the only possibility for me because i have no root access:
... you could prolly just check the ignore box and move forward regardless of this warning
there is only a white screen and the following error-message and no ignore-box:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method ReflectionClass::newInstanceArgs() in /var/www/evopark.com/ez2/lib/ezutils/classes/ezextension.php on line 450 Fatal error: eZ Publish did not finish its request
The execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.
do you have any further idea?
thanks a lot
