Hi Andrei,

Do you have installed any PHP accelerators or Zend Optimizer? If the last one is installed, disabled it in php.ini and try once again.

Check also if problem isn't realted to some application which is running in background e.g antivirus scanner.

On windows platform eAccelerator works fine and gives good results. PHP Accelerator is recommend for eZ publish. You can check results with and without PHP accelerator here:

This is Windows ME right?

I think I have read that other have problems with this OS too.

We might have limited support of Windows ME...

Can you try an NT based(2000, 2003, xp) System...
