Yes this seems to be a bug introduced by the new module / view security fix.
Could you create a bug issue for this?

Yes, the module / view security fix regression should be present in 3.8.9, 3.9.3 and 3.10beta1.

Please comment all further problems regarding this bug on the issue tracker, also if you find any other module/views you have this problem with!
