You can try mysql 4.1. It has the unicode support you need.

Fine :)
mysql 4.1 is in alpha right now. So my teammates are bogging down to support to upgarde the existing mysql to 4.1

Thanx for your comments. I will try it in PostgreSQL. If its not possible to transfer the data to postgresql, then I will upgarde the system to 4.1

Thats sounds good! I would like to continue working with mysql, but the multilanguage support...
So, my question is, does the eZ 3.2 install routine accept the mysql 4.1 database for the multilangual support with all the possible characters, e.g. russian and german?
That would be great!

Well lets say yes.... But I think at current point the install routine is a little dumb... so you have to get your hands on the settings of the site.ini and content.ini
