Chris, i guess, you try to set up the system again, right?
When i access http://www.iridescent-motion.net/elite/index.php/corporate/, the install wizard shows up.

Although I've successfully installed ezp (including the new 3.4) on several machines, I've also now got the same problem you describe. The user site is not accessable, but the admin site works fine. The instance of php on that server did not include the --enable-memory-limit directive and so I can't increase the memory for the script. But I'm not sure if excluding the directive during the php configure would limit the memory to a default 8MB or would allow the ezp script to have no limit. The ezp setup reports that the memory is set at 8MB.
You say that your instance in configured to 18MB but the setup still says that it's 8MB.
The other possibility which I'll be checking is that file permissions were not set correctly during the first attempt to run the setup and even though the permissions have been corrected, the 2nd run of setup may not have correctly created siteaccess settings.

Hi, yeah I wiped it, thinking perhaps I had made a mistake in the setup, I read on the forum someone having trouble with permissions when they are set using the ftp app. However I can't find anyway to send the command to the shell, tried a cute ftp script but although it ran with no errors didn't actually set permissions. Should it work ok setting them manually through ftp app, I know it needs to be recursive -R what do you recommend.

Regarding the memory limit, I know the install script only recognises 8MB but that is the global setting, if you run phpinfo http://iridescent-motion.net/phpinfo.php then it shows local limits to be 18MB and 45 seconds execution time. When these were lower I got the respective errors, now they are increased it seemed better.

I'll try setting it up again now and report findings, thanks.
