Hi,

Turn on DebugOutput at

settings/siteaccess/your_site_access/site.ini.append

Do it for both admin and user siteaccess, then clear the cache and take a look at debug messages

I'm a total n00b at this so please forgive me. The Photo Gallery is running on a server that is not a part of my website. The website is hosted by Verizon, and I am trying Ez-Publish out as a personal project on my own server at my home. I just linked to it from my Verizon website. That being said, I found the file "site.ini.append" for the Gallery. Here is the entire text:
<?php /* #?ini charset="utf8"?

[SiteSettings]
LoginPage=embeded
SiteName=Gallery
SiteURL=192.168.0.102:82/My_Site/index.php

[SiteAccessSettings]
RequireUserLogin=false

[DesignSettings]
StandardDesign=standard
SiteDesign=gallery

[FileSettings]
VarDir=var/gallery

[ContentSettings]
EditDirtyObjectAction=usecurrent
TranslationList=

[DatabaseSettings]
DatabaseImplementation=ezmysql
Server=localhost
Database=photogallery
User=root
Password=******
Charset=
Socket=disabled

[InformationCollectionSettings]
EmailReceiver=

[UserSettings]
RegistrationEmail=

[MailSettings]
AdminEmail=casa######cape.net
EmailSender=

[RegionalSettings]
Locale=eng-US
ContentObjectLocale=eng-US
TextTranslation=enabled
*/ ?>

I don't know exactly what to do about your suggestion of the debugoutput section. What should I do? (I'm no programmer as you can tell, although I have an MCSA). Thanks again.

Thanks again. I have a couple of questions.
When I added that text to Debug to the append file it saved the file as text out of Wordpad. Is that ok? Should I have used a different program to edit the append file? I have the original so I could do it over with something else.
I rebooted the server and I think that took care of the cache.
Second: The debug messages are the ones at the bottom of the Ez-Publish Gallery when I logon, right?
Thanks again.

Ok I edited the .append file with DreamWeaver MX. Works ok now. You can check out the link to the Gallery and the display of the error list at my website so long as the IP stays the same or my server doesn't go down- http://mysite.verizon.net/vze1tvxm/pete. Scroll down and it's in the red box on the left.

Not sure how to clear the cache. I rebooted the server and I think that cleared the cache. None of the errors seem picture related. Can you guys tell me what to do to remedy each error?

As i can understand reading the debug output, probably you dont have a image hanlder installed.
You need imagemagick or GD.
GD is used on many hosting companies.
And if you dont see any image, is becasuse magemagick or GD are missing or bad configuration.

I can sugest you, first take a look on the documentation:
http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation

And about instalation methods:
http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/toc/(from)/34400

Just a quick tip:
When you have started the instalation, you see a screen with a option to "fine tune" (or something like this, dont remenber) the system.
This option gives you important information about things missing or things you need improve.
This includes the image handler.

good luck

I reinstalled php into the Apache main folder with apache.exe but nothing changed. However, I have one more thing to add. Only the icons are not displaying. When you click on the icon for a picture, the picture comes up. Even the icon for the Gallery Home in the upper left is not displaying. That icon is the white box with the red X in the middle. The other icons are just white boxes.
I'm hoping someone can help me with that!
Thanks.
