Hi Mark

Please enable the eZ Publish debug output and take a look at it to see if there are any messages in there related to your problem: http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/3_10/reference/configuration_files/site_ini/debugsettings/debugoutput

Some more info on debugging can be found at http://ezpedia.org/wiki/en/ez/debugging. Good luck!

The message that I am getting is cant find /tmp/mysql.sock
This file is actually at /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock.
I have tried crating a sym link for the file and tried correcting the permissions on the sym link buy it still does not want to work.

More info you you.
On the cli I can not enter mysql, this returns an error I have to use mysql -p to get in. I dont know if that is what is causing the wizard to not log in. I am also using redhat 64bit server version 5.
Once this test server is up and running we can look at moving to the latest version of ez but for now I am stuck using this old version.
