Ahm are you sure you've ezpublish installed?
A non living system on your computer should only comsume a few MB's.

Well I have a directory that says ezpublish is taking up 35GB of space. It won't allow me to remove the directory and I'm assuming its because uninstall should do it for me. The problem is I tried installing ezpublish and uninstalling it. Among the directories this one is over 35 GB:

C:\eZpublish\ezpublish\design\base

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello Tony

This is really strange as EZ is not a program, just a bunch of files which you should be able to delete without problems. Therefore some more questions first:
- What message do you get when you try to remove the directory?
- Judging from the directory separators you use Windows - what version of Windows and what filesystem do you use (NTFS or FAT)?
- Are you administrator on this machine?
- What happens if you try to delete the folder from the command line?

Greetings from Luxembourg

Hi

You are probably not allowed to remove it since Apache is running and apache uses that directory. Go to "Controll panel -> Admibistrative Tools -> Services -> Locate Apache there and click stop. Now try to delete eZ. It this does not work then try command line.

Thank you all for the messages. The problem I keep running into is that there are directories with null names and others that windows doesn't recognize. I managed to delete all the files within the directories so I will probably just leave them there because it's a huge tree that will take a long time to remove one by one and probably not worth it...
