Hello kracker I think your right, a better goal at the moment would be to test the recent 3.10beta1 release. The 3.10beta1 release contains a number improvements which are well worth testing instead.
News: http://ez.no/community/news/ez_publish_3_10_beta1_released
Changelog: http://pubsvn.ez.no/nextgen/trunk/doc/changelogs/3.10/unstable/CHANGELOG-3.10.0alpha1-to-3.10.0beta1 Downloads: http://ez.no/download/ez_publish/ez_publish_3_unstable_releases/3_10/3_10_0beta1 The upgrade to 3.10beta1 is fairly simple, unpack the release and run the sql upgrade file (which seems to only increase the version number in the database) - Run upgrade sql file mysql --user ezpublish --database ezpublish --password=publish < update/database/mysql/3.10/unstable/dbupdate-3.10.0alpha1-to-3.10.0beta1.sql
- Run new clear cache script ./bin/php/ezcache.php --clear-all
- Test both the user and admin site to ensure a complete upgrade. This thread exists in the hope to help other developers and users testing the very latest unstable release of eZ Publish 3.10. We are not advocating the use of unstable releases in production in general.
Cheers, Heath
