it used the default siteaccess settings which is probably not your admin siteaccess that is use when clearing the cache in the backend. I think you have a problem in your settings with VarDir or StorageDir or CacheDir ?
I'm not 100% sure, but this is fixed in 4.0 and should be fixed in 3.10.1 (in svn/stable/3.10) also.
From the 4.0rc1 SDK-Public mail:
- Fixed an issue where special chars were saved as unicode entities
in the database, this had the effect that:
- Export of open content object caused the ODF document to
contain unicode entities for example ’
- It also caused some problems with image aliases, where the
original alias could be deleted from the filesystem
- This issue affects all alpha and beta releases of eZ Publish 4,
but is fixed in this RC1 release. Data created with older
releases will still contain this type of information in their
databases.
- Updates to the updateniceurls script to make it more robust. Do
check out the new options for upgrading.
