It CAN be simpler, but because there are so many developers here it doesn't click to them that not EVERYone here is a developer and doesn't understand a lot of the terminology used even in the seemingly very simple upgrade instructions. So I ask again, does anyone know of another site or even a youtube video that can walk a novice through upgrading their EZ publish without a lot of extra complicated, technical jargon? Thanks
Ivo Lukac	Friday 24 July 2009 12:47:30 am Sorry, but upgrading is not click-click process, you need to have some technical knowledge (executing php shell and mysql scripts, backuping,...). You also didn't note what version do you have and to what version you want to upgrade. For example upgrading from 4.0.3 to 4.0.5 can be very easy and straightforward but upgrading from 3.8.6 to 4.1.3 can be very demanding.... Sorry, but upgrading is not click-click process, you need to have some technical knowledge (executing php shell and mysql scripts, backuping,...).

You also didn't note what version do you have and to what version you want to upgrade.
For example upgrading from 4.0.3 to 4.0.5 can be very easy and straightforward but upgrading from 3.8.6 to 4.1.3 can be very demanding....
