Hi,
Are you using the community supplied agenda template?
If so this will do much of what you want.

If you can confirm this is what you are doing then I can assist with some sample code for a day view template.

cheers

A good place to start with an agenda is a very nice one created by Stefano Guandalini. It can be found in the Community/Contrib/Applications section of this site at http://www.ez.no/community/contribs/applications

I created my first ezPublish yesterday and thought a calendar was standard in this CMS. I d/l agenda.tpl, but where to find information regarding this instructions:

***
- Create a class with two date attributes called 'date_from' and 'date_to'.
- Fill one folder with objects created from this new class.
- Replace the node number of your folder in fetch below.
- Include this template wherever you want in your tamplate.
- Create a new override for results.
- Look for $view_parameters.day,month,year to tune your fetch for results.
***

It appears to me one cannot "start" with an agenda, one has to "develop" an agenda.

Additionally, I also d/l ezCalendar, but this does not show any information, using URL:
http://localhost/ezpublish/index.php/intranet_admin/content/view/admin/calendar/day

I am running ezpublish on my development notebook, XP Home SP2, Apache 2.0.52, PHP 4.3.10, MySQL 3.23.49

Hi

Thanks for your help, i did the steps and it works fine except that the date's including the events is not hyperlinked to display its events. i do think that the problem is in the node id that is used in fetching as we are using the node id of the folder containing the events,

"<a href={concat("/content/view/full/__YOUR_NODE_HERE__/day/", $item, "/month/", $month, "/year/", $year)|ezurl}>"

waiting for a solution please

Thanks in advance

Hi,
I dont know specifically whats wrong but if I were debugging it....
Probably the first thing to do, is at the top of your template, do a simple fetch on all items in the appropriate folder and then loop thru and display their names. That will prove the correct node and theres nothing more sinister at play.
From there, take the fetch youve proved worked, and try fetching a specific event (using filter based on day or something) which will probably help determine whats wrong.

that should help in determining whats going on.
