hi!!
now i can edit everything again, the problem was with translations but i don't know what was wrong. The only thing i've done to "repair" this is to put again all the site in eng-GB modifiing the corresponding .ini files.

Has anything been changed about how translations work in 3.2 release??
Do i have to translate every object of my site by using the "Manage Translations" that appears when editing, to make my site viewable in other languages?

Thanks in advance for any help provided

Hi,
It has nothing to do with upgrading. Im having difficulties using it in version 3.2.0-1. The problem seems to be translation related. I now have no top node in my norwegian site, and it wont show the attributes.
I have created a bug report for this here: http://ez.no/developer/ez_publish_3/bug_reports/critical_node_attributes_dissapear_when_translated

I thought maybe it had to do with the beta (3.2.0-1) so I upgraded, but still the same, maybe my database is corrupted now?!?

Could you please advise ez folks??!

regards,
claÜs

hi again,
i don't think your database is corrupted.
i think i found the solution...

1. first i put the admin or siteaccess in eng-GB (the original language) by modifiing the corresponding "*.ini.append" file in settings/siteaccess/.

2. Then i added the translations in the admin interface (Setup->Translations).

3. The next thing i did was to translate ALL the content i had. You have to use the "Translations" menu that appears on the rightside of the page when you are editing any content object.
First click on "Manage", then add the new translation and click on "Translate" to do so with the new version, don't forget to Store it, then click on "Edit" and you'll be back to the original editing page, don't forget to Publish it!!

After doing that you will be able to edit and view the content in all the languages you added. It worked for me, i hope it helps, bye!
