Hi,

concerning the j2ee webapps. We have done similar things before by using a php proxy to display the apps outout in eZpublish.

Concerning the AUTH it is up to you how to integrate this. Maybe with a session id lookup in the eZ db. There are many ways in doing this.

You can use the php java bridge (which acts as a kind of proxy):

http://php-java-bridge.sourceforge.net/pjb/

You can call PHP from Java and vice versa
