There are two settings to check, but I suspect that in your case the Image Class has this size limit set in it.
Go to Setup > Classes > Media > Image and edit that class. You will see the size limit set to 2MB by default. Setting it to 0MB makes it unlimited.
If that is not, it check your php.ini. You can verify the maximum post size allowed by the ini by looking at Setup > System Information.

Hi Mark, Thank you so much, the option to edit the Image class works ok.
The parameter in php.ini already had changed why was half lost by which may be the option to change.
