Regarding to your problem, you can create under root folder new objects (Company, Service) from "Folder" class. Then they will appear in the menu.

I suggest to take some time and read good tutorial for new users called "Building an eZ publish site". Here is link:

You will learn the basics, and this tutorial will help you understand how to work with eZ publish templates and customize layout for your needs.
