Hi Robert,
I full agree with you, but i thing the community need contribute a litle more. Not just the Ez crew.
Looking the community stats (http://ez.no/developer/community_stats), the majority of the contributions in documentation, come from Ez crew.
I think that this should change for a bigger participation from the community.

The community seems to be more active there than on the Documentation section here.
By the way, I found this article about EzPublish on Sitepoint that is a good example of a Getting Started guide:

Robert, the the wiki documentation has been merged with the documentation on ez.no. The new documentation on ez.no is also wiki style so any registered user may edit it.
