The bugs are given priority and handled accordingly. When we have resources to resolve the issue, the bug is fixed. Dependent on the priority the bug is given, this can take some time. fixed in 3.6.0rc1(trunk rev.11788), also in 3.5.3(stable/3.5 rev.11789) and in 3.4.7(stable/3.4 rev.11791)

To update existing search indexes you should execute 'update/common/scripts/updatesearchindex.php' script.
