Hi,
bad news: you cannot send the password to a user, because the password itself is not stored, just a hash code of it. This is very common in "password" systems.
Good news: There is a good function, where a user can request a news password, when he enters his email adress.
You can access the function with the URL /user/forgotpassword/ (just like here at ez.no. The Link appears on the right side of the "login" page).
Will that help you?

Hi,
When a user on the web-site forgot is password, he will have a message on his mailbox.
He can click to generate a new password.
All is ok for me.

But I try to send also to the user his <b>login</b> so but impossible.

On the template forgotpassword.tpl
I have :
Your email: {$user.email}

But the login how I can ?
Should I change an array or anything on the forgotpasswordmailtpl ?

Thanks

Hi,

If I remember properly, this isn't available unfortunately in that template.
I think I did fill a feature request, if not I suggest to create one.

X+

P.S. A better option would be to send a link to a page that allows the user to enter a new password instead of a page that generate a new password and send it by email to the user (without the login information).
