Hi, you should be able to install additional packages to an existing site.
Just log in to your admin access , go to Setup -> Packages and upload the poll-package file there. After uploading this, you can install it from there. Please note, that you will probably have to clear the caches and possibly double-check the user policies for your new (poll) package.
