Its not in eZ by default, but the rule of thumb is, if you can do it in PHP you can do it in eZ using an extension. Now you may have to do it yourself, but you can do it.

I think this will become a common requirement as people begin to utilise version 3 for Intranets

We are always interested in hearing from experienced eZ PHP programmers and eZ template designers interested in contract work.

I agree LDAP is a much needed addition to eZ.

I work at Telemark University College (http://www.hit.no).

We plan to implement eZ publish 3 at our site. We have about 500 employees and 4500 students. LDAP-support is very important for us when implementing new IT-systems.

Today we ordered eZ systems to code an LDAP-extension for eZ publish 3. It will be made general and configurable.

We love the open-source-philosofy, so we will make this extension available for everybody.

It is supposed to be finished in sept./oct.

This sounds "sweet" to me. I hope eZ systems adds this extension as part of future eZ publish releases.

I want to thank Jonny and Telemark University College for this much needed module.

Regards,

geo
