Hi,
For a selection datatype, I think you can do it through the content tab.
For the name of an attribute, I think it's not possible in 3.8.x, but I heard it will be in 3.9.x
Currently I'm using the id of the attribute and set the correct value in the translation.ts file.For exemple, in edit pages I have
{$attributes.item.contentclass_attribute.id|i18n( 'design/special' )}
this.
