I am also wondering the same thing. Did you manage to figure this out. I am trying to create a custom notification event so that a reminder email is sent before the end date of a task/calendar event. Much like an alarm.
I have just opened a topic ("Reminder/Alarm Notification") with my progress so far but I am stuck and can't seem to figure it out.
Any advice will be much appreciated.
