If you dont want that file to overide your file you can simply remove it from the extension folder, but then i guess some things might not work as intended for the extension.
i've already replace the file in the extension folder, but it doesn't function and it's not a good method because we need for the extension in the admin part...
If you specify an override in the override.ini you could at least have your browse template in the user site_access with the admin siteaccess still using the ezdhtml browse template. If you want two different browse templates for the admin site access you might be able to use the override condition which matches the navigation part.
Check the override conditions for content/browse.tpl - maybe you can utilise something else. http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/3_8/reference/template_override_conditions
Actually I will post an enhancement request to create better override conditions as I had the same problem as you do far to often now.
