Publish date and retract date is still possible in eZ publish 3. This is handled by the workflow system. We do not have a workflow like this distributed with the 3.0 final, but it would not surprise me if this comes as a feature contribution in the near future.
Oh .. this is more or less exactly what I am trying to figure out the workings of. Is there any descriptions on how this can be done? .. anyone managed to configure this.
I've just started looking into it .. and I see that it should be pretty easy once you know the workings of the system, but how!?!
