Hi,

Answer for question 1: It is not possible to add any new sites without changing the kernel. You need to have a look at kernel/setup/ezsetuptypes.php.

Answer for question 2: Sorry. Force a replace or delete is not possible.

Answer for question 3: No doc. for package manager currently. We have only doc. for content object import.

Regards,
Wenyue

Hi Wenyue,

Thank you very much for answering this question. Are there any plans to make it possible in the future to add site packages to the setup, so the user can select a custom product during the setup? What would be required to make it work? A modification of the ezsetuptypes.php file (so it can read from a settings file included in the package), or changes in the package manager as well?

I think it would really make eZ publish even more attractive, not only for potential customers, but also for partners who sell customized solutions developed on basis of eZ publish.

Kind regards,
Sebastiaan

Hi Sebastiaan,

Nothing is set in stone yet, but I it looks like the changes you are looking for will appear in eZ publish 4.0
