Never mind, Bruce. I think I've got it. It seems that the way to specify an alternative to userregister is to create a custom shopaccounthandler and specify the alternative in the fetchAccountInformation method of the eZSimpleShopAccountHandler class.
Thats right. Sounds like you have found your way! I aways plan to write these things up but work always seems to get in the way :) It is on the list though!

But this was the only discussion I found about this shopaccounthandlers.
I was trying to add new shopaccounthalder as an extension. I have made some progress but I havent be able to add my implementation fo the ezshopaccounthandler.php in the extension instead of the kernel folder. Do you know how to do it?? Regards, Hannes
