due to feedback from the community we've decided to make a 3.2-3 release of eZ publish later this week. We will spend most of this week on fixing bugs and preparing for this release.

It does appear that we have jumped the gun on this issue ;)
I'll adjust the patches when 3.2-3 is released, and possibly remove them depending on bugs fixed. According to your news article there might not be the need for patches, which is ideal :)
Paul, thanks for providing the patches. Thanks to the eZ crew as well for seeing the need to release an official patch. These interactions make the eZ community all the stronger!
