Hi Roberto,
Have you tested webdav?
take a look at
http://ez.no/ezpublish/demo/guided_tours/webdav_images
If webdav is not for you, there is a contribution based on java to upload multi image at once http://ez.no/community/contribs/applications/multiplefileupload. (Dont know if it works with 3.9)
