Mike,
This extension clears (deletes) everything I think by default and then re-adds them. My override for cronjob.ini.append.php for bccleanuprss is like this:
[CronjobPart-rss-import] Scripts[]=cleanuprss.php Scripts[]=rssimport.php
I ensure both are run at the same time once every morning.
