Hi,

Your extension doesn't work for me :(
I go to the http://mysite/index.php/admin_site/coolzipimport/import URL, have the "Import zip with images" page but when I select a .zip file and click on "upload file" button, nothing happens. It never asks me for the upload location and the browser refreshes, coming back to the "Import zip with images" page.

Any ideas ?

I'm using eZ v. 3.9.1, Mozilla Firefox and a Linux Server.
Thanks.
Benj.

Hi,
sounds a little after php.ini upload size restriction, you tried a smaller one?

Yes, that did the trick !
Shame on me, my "upload_max_filesize" was equal to 2M :(
Thanks.

Hi Ekkehard,

I have a problem with coolzipimport on 3.9.2 (On 3.8 I didn't have any problems):

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /var/www/ez/hok/hok-392/extension/coolzipimport/modules/coolzipimport/coolzipimportimport.php on line 116
Fatal error: eZ publish did not finish its request

The execution of eZ publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.

Do you have any advice? Thanks!

HI,
In line 110 of coolzipimportimport.php change $classID = 5; to the classID used in your ez publish 3.9.2 install.
This is similar with http://ez.no/community/forum/extensions/coolpresentation_powerpoint_import_released
My 2 cents, should be read from an ini settings.

Hi all,

I'll release it to http://projects.ez.no as soon as possible in the next 3-4 weeks.

Then you can get write access and improve it directly.

Hello,

I am using ez 3.10 and I have 250 000 jpg's to import.... (crazy thing indeed)

Whenever I uploag a .zip file or an .jpg I get the following:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in e:\sitiosweb\gammae\extension\coolzipimport\modules\coolzipimport\coolzipimportimport.php on line 116
Fatal error: eZ Publish did not finish its request

The execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.

Turning the debug on, without doing the browse/upload (just turning the debug on) I get as the first line of error/warnings:

Timing: Sep 12 2008 05:02:20
Script start
Notice: eZMySQLDB::query(0.000 ms) query number per page:0 Sep 12 2008 05:02:20
SET NAMES 'utf8'
Timing: Sep 12 2008 05:02:20
Module start 'coolzipimport'
Error: eZHTTPFile Sep 12 2008 05:02:20
Unknown file for post variable: coolzipimport_file

Doing a browse/import (only one .jpg file) I still get the same:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in e:\sitiosweb\gammae\extension\coolzipimport\modules\coolzipimport\coolzipimportimport.php on line 116
Fatal error: eZ Publish did not finish its request

The execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.

The debug information is empty, no warnigs, no errors...

Thanks, jorge

Hi Jorge,

look at J-A Eberhard post, there is the solution. There will be no development in future on this, since there is a new multi upload extension coming.

It is in SVN so everybody is welcome to develop and commit:
http://projects.ez.no/coolzipimport

This extension is working well in production use, it is limited to the upload_max_filesize, max_input_time in PHP

and then with but with so many images, you should better use Björns import framework http://projects.ez.no/import or Philipps data import:
http://projects.ez.no/data_import

Hello!

This has been a really great extension, It should be great if you could give it a push to newer versions of ez.

If I need to import zip files to version 4 of ez I have to : inport them in an 3.10 enviroment, export them to a package, then inport them into the ez 4 version... quite a task that consumes part of my brain...

best regards and thanks

Of course is someone knows how to make my life better importing images, please let me know!
