the eZ Newsletter setup is currently not aimed to be installed via the package manager into an existing eZ Publish site. Therefore this should be done manually. You don't need the newsletter_structure package to get eZ Newsletter working, but as said it then needs handwork to set it up.
Hi Tobias, first I'd like to thank you for your previous answer;
I've installed the newsletter component as described in the documentation on this site (i.e by including the file "package.ini.append.php") and I' ve got an EzPublish site running, but just with the newsletter's functionalities.
So, my question is, how should I do, in order to make this newsletter site cohabit with an Ez Site where I've published Items or any kind of documents.
Because, I would like to generate and manage newsletter for registered users of the Ez Site, or to create Newsletters from Items published on my Ez Site.
I am also interested in the answer to the above question. How do you run eznewsletter within an existing 3.9.2 site to reutilise already published website content for your community newsletters.
I have downloaded the latest ezpublish 3.9.2 with integrated eznewsletter 1.5.1 and install succesfully but now I don't find the eznewsletter menĂ¹, where can I make new list or subscriber's lists?
I will publish a guide how to install it on an existing site as fast as possible. In between I would propose that you install eZ Newsletter in parallel and take the settings from there. When you ask in this forum about what specific settings mean I can give you short descriptions fastly.
I am also getting the fatal error message described in the first post.
I've altered my folder and article classes in my ez installation. Could that cause this problem? Which attributes are needed for article/folder classes at the newsletter extension?
