Hi Karl,

What newsletters version did you installed ?
When you press the "preview" button, did you see your newsletter in the back Office ?
If not, you might have a templating problem.

An other way to look at : Did you receive any mail from your server( not specially from eznewsletter ) ? If not, you might have a problem with the smtp or sendmail.

Thank you very much for answering so quickly.

I have installed the 1.6 eznewsletter version.

What do you mean exactly by "seeing my newsletter in the Back-Office" when pressing the "preview" button ? Do you mean that, when I press the "preview" button, should I see my newsletter imediatly after pressing this button (like in a preview view) or should I see it after a search process in the B.O ?

Anyway, I will test email sending with a feedback form. However, I must tell you that I can already receive a confirmation email just after my registration for the newsletter in the Front Office. So I draw the conclusion that the email protocol works fine.

Well,

I have just tested email sending after submitting a message through feedback form and I can receive a new email.

So I can conclude that I have no problem with sendmail protocol.

Any idea of the cause of that problem ?

Do I have a task to make in the eznewsletter configuration files ?

Version 1.6 ?
Did you use this newsletter : http://ez.no/developer/contribs/applications/ez_newsletter ? The last version is 1.5.2 ( 1.5.3 is in beta I've read somewhere ). Is it a new release or an other extension ?

What do you mean exactly by "seeing my newsletter in the Back-Office" when pressing the "preview" button ?

You shoud have a preview button in the newsletter template that show you a preview ( in an iframe ) in the Back Office of your newsletter. And, yes you should see the newsletter before sending it.

You should have a "send button" ( or something like that ) to make a custom sending to a specific e-mail.

May be some others tasks to check :

- Did you add any user ( your email ) in a newsletter-list ?
- For that user, what kind of output format did you choose ?
- In the newsletter type did you select the correct newsletter-list ?
- For the newsletter did you select the correct output format ?
- Is your "sending" cron job correctly executed ?

Actually I can see the preview of my newsletter in the B.O.

I have also checked my subscription list, and my own email address is in it with "approved" status.

I have also checked the output format issues and everything is okay.

What do you mean exactly by "sending" cron job correctly executed ? How can I check that ?

In your web-server error logs.

Did you received the newsletter when you use the "send preveiw" button ?

Actually I use this new recent version of eznewsletter :http://ez.no/fr/download/add_ons/ez_newsletter/ez_newsletter_unstable_releases/1_6/1_6_0beta

It's meant for eZ Publish 4.0. Actually I use eZ Publish 4.1.
