I looked at it briefly...
Currently it looks like the YUI has the same set of prebuild JS/AJAX build in. I am wondering the the benefits of this are.

So, you are using YUI now with eZ? I think Backbase is a little more advanced than YUI myself but I suppose..Ajax <cough>DHTML</cough> is all the same in the end!
