Yudi,

I'm glad you chose eZ, and I expect you and your team will be very valuable members of the community.

If you are going to use the website interface, or other sitestyles, one very nice tool is EditCSS - a Mozilla FireFox plugin that lets you edit CSS in the browser and see the effects on the site, without refreshing the screen. Firebug is another very helpful plugin.

Best wishes,

:)

Just wanted to comment on this.

I pretty much agree with Carlos as I also have a similar experience.. I've been working with ez for a bit over 3 years and just recently started looking into Drupal.. basically i guess it's due to all the hype that is being generated about that CMS everywhere.

eZ wins overall on structure, content handling and the admin interface but Drupal for some reason offers a great simplicity which would be highly appreciated when wanting to create a good website as quickly as possible.

With drupal and thousands of modules available you can easily and quickly get a pretty good site running in no time... and seems to have less complexity than an eZ site.

Never the less I really doubt selling a drupal site to my bigger clients.. I'd stick with eZ for that.

Drupal provides a good toolset to help you build your site but site planning is still needed.

Here's another take on the matter:

In a nutshell: there's a time and place for each product ;)

I prefer to eZ Publish.
It is somewhat a pity that the community of eZ Publish is not as active as Drupal's.

Any suggestions on that?
There will be some news on the technical sides of the community this summer at the conference. But I think there needs to be a better organization of the community as well, it's not just a technical issue.
