A lot of people in this forum need this kind of script also. Either import via xml or ordinary text, and an explanation where to import the new content(ezcontentobject, ezcontentobject_attribute, ezcontent_tree etc.) so the data is stored correctly according to the ez publish data structuere.

Since this is an open source cms..there should absolutely be such a scripts available, and with very good documentation on how users can import data to ez publish.

Why has this been discussed so many times, without no answers or results?

There are several good contributions doing imports at: http://ez.no/community/contribs/import_export

One of them is based on xml: http://ez.no/community/contribs/import_export/import_xml_data

I would not say these discussions did not have any results. Try to explain us what you exactly mean.

It's very hard to make a one-fits-all import solution, and I think this counts for every CMS.
