Hi,
Can you tell what version of eZ is installed, and also which browsers the users are using which experience these disconnections?
I found the following bug, which should now be fixed, and it's behaviour sounds similar to what you describe: http://issues.ez.no/IssueView.php?Id=15269&activeItem=1
