To speed things up, enable caching in eZ publish (view caching, template compile, template cache). And a PHP accelerator also helps a lot. eZ publish really loves cpu power.
Thanks for your immediate reply, Hans. Apparently, we don't need to worry too much about this warning.. but the speed (or lack thereof) problem persists. I think I came across a message earlier mentioning an accelerator, but could you please elaborate on that? Could such an accelerator be installed if the site is hosted remotely? And does it behave as a normal PHP extension?
